I'm traveling for work and stopped here for lunch before flying back to Hawai'i. YUM! Great sandwich! The service was great, and enough seating to sit and eat comfortably.
I came in looking for a late night treat and was greeted by a friendly helpful person Tyra. She is soo sweet and caring and very very patient with me and all my questions. She did everything she could do to please me with her wealth of information about the menu. I know I was being annoying but she never changed her attitude and was kind the whole way through the transaction never wavering in her hospitable attitude. I wish everyone in customer service was like her. Hope to see you again Tyra you made my night !!
I grew up on La Madeleine and where I live now doesn't have it, so I enjoy grabbing some nostalgic food here whenever I travel through PHX airport. I was a little disappointed the chicken salad doesn't have hot chicken like a regular location. It also doesn't have the same flavoring and spices. It's just cold bland chicken on top of your grab and go salad. My husband really enjoyed the French dip sandwich - crispy bread and piping hot with the sauce. It is noticeably pricier than a regular location, but well it's an airport so...I'm just glad to have the food options. French dip took maybe 7 min to make, and there wasn't really much line.
The ONLY thing better than the sandwiches (which were PHENOMENAL) was the the service we got from Alex! WOW!! Im in the service industry and RARELY get service like what he delivered! This was so far beyond any "airport meal" I've ever had. DON'T MISS THIS RESTAURANT!!! You'll be sorry!!! Alex... if you ever decide to leave the sunshine of Phoenix, you have a job waiting with me Calgary!
Last night I had a quick layover in PHX. I had only 19 minutes to grab something to eat. The easy choice was to wait in the line at the Golden Arches, but next door was La Madeleine. No line, so I gave it a try. It was late, so unfortunately pasta and chicken salad was no longer available. I had the Croque Monsieur with ham. OMG, this sandwich was SPECTACULAR! It was so good I thought, "I have to give these guys a review." They promised it would take only 10 minutes, and it did. It came with my choice of chips or a banana. So much better than other airport food. I highly recommend!

Don and the Crew were Amazing!!!! The food was delicious and the environment was clean and fun! What abreath of fresh air! This restaraunt is like an oasis of pleasure in the middle of the Phoenix airport !!!! All the people at work in this restaurant are like family and HAPPY!!! Thank You !!!
The food was good, particularly for airport food. The service was super fast! Best of all, our server/cashier Guy was a true gem. He was so charming and upbeat, it really made our day. We had the croque monsieur with ham, it was crispy and delicious. Our teen had the tomato basil soup and declared it good. We shared the lemon coconut cake which was good but very sweet. Would definitely stop by again!
On an early layover so we stopped in for breakfast. I had the croque monsieur and my husband had the yogurt parfait and a croissant. The sandwich was fabulous and the parfait was yummy and fresh. They even made my husband a special coffee that he likes. The service is really what I am writing about. So friendly and personable. Very hard to find that level of authenticity. Thanks for starting our day of right, La Mad!!!!
Food was good at the Airport level. I liked the turkey monsieur croquet. More than that was the service. The staff was friendly and cared as if they owned the business. I always appreciate the pride and attention to detail people have for what they do.
